MEET LISA
Dogs have been a major part of my life for decades, both personally and professionally. I have over 25 years of experience raising and training guide dog puppies and more than 20 years of experience training and showing dogs. Throughout that time, I've worked with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, temperaments, and abilities, giving me a broad understanding of how different dogs learn and develop.
My experience includes obedience training, conformation, scent work, service and therapy dog training, and helping owners work through everyday manners and behavioral challenges. I'm an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, Fit Dog Instructor, AKC Temperament Test/ Evaluator, Farm Dog Judge. I enjoy continuing to learn about dogs and finding ways to help each dog and handler build better communication, confidence, and teamwork.
At Black Oaks Kennels, I bring that experience into both my training programs and overnight boarding services. I believe every dog deserves thoughtful care and an approach that considers their individual needs, personality, and learning style. Whether I'm helping an owner work toward a specific training goal or caring for a dog while their family is away, my goal is to provide a positive, attentive experience for both dogs and their people.

MEET JAMIE
Jamie is my AKC registered Belgian Malinois and an important part of my life at Black Oaks Kennels. The Belgian Malinois is known for its intelligence, athleticism, drive, and ability to learn complex tasks, making the breed especially suited to a variety of training activities.
As my stud dog, Jamie may be available for approved breeding opportunities. I believe responsible breeding starts with careful consideration of temperament, health, structure, and the qualities each dog may contribute to future generations.
For more information about Jamie, his background, and potential breeding opportunities, please contact me directly.
