Doggy Boot Camp is a comprehensive board and train program for dogs of all ages, from young puppies to older dogs who need help improving their manners or behavior. Each program is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, whether you’re working on basic obedience, leash manners, reactivity, confidence, or everyday household behaviors. During their stay, I focus on building practical skills that can make life with your dog easier while giving you the guidance and resources to continue their training at home.

What Your Dog Will Work On:
Every dog comes to boot camp with different strengths and areas for improvement. I focus on building reliable obedience, better everyday manners, and more appropriate responses to common challenges. Depending on your dog’s needs, training may include skills such as:

✓ Loose leash walking and heel
✓ Going to a designated place and staying there
✓ Waiting calmly at doors and before meals

Note: Training priorities are based on your dog’s individual needs. Not every dog will work on every skill during their stay.
Take the Training Home
Training does not end when you pick up your dog. I want you to understand how to continue practicing the skills your dog has learned and how to maintain consistency at home.
✓ Initial consultation: Discuss your dog’s needs, current behaviors, and training goals before the stay.
✓ Follow up lesson: Meet with me two weeks after your dog returns home to review progress and work through questions.
✓ Training videos: Receive videos to help you understand and practice the training techniques with your dog.
✓ Guidance for everyday life: Learn how to reinforce the behaviors and routines covered during boot camp.
✓ BONUS - A Kuranda Bed to Take Home: Your dog will also go home with a Kuranda dog bed, giving them a comfortable place to rest while you continue working on their training at home.
