Explore the World of Scent Work
Scent work gives dogs an opportunity to use their natural ability to sniff, search, and problem solve. In class, I teach dogs to associate specific odors with a reward, such as high value food or a favorite toy. Once they understand the connection between the scent and the reward, we build on that foundation by creating a search game where they learn to locate the odor.
If you would like your dog trained to detect scents beyond birch, anise, and clove, please contact me directly to schedule a consultation. I can discuss your goals, the specific scent you want your dog to recognize, and the training options that may be appropriate.

Putting Those Noses to Work
Scent work is all about letting dogs do what they naturally love to do: sniff, search, and explore. Take a look at some of the dogs learning to follow their noses and find the hidden scents.
